General Questions
  1. How does Hespy Poker help me analyze my bankroll?
    Hespy Poker offers an online database that you can use to store information about your poker sessions. Once you have entered your sessions, we will display your data in various charts and graphs to help you discover any holes in your game.
Subscription Questions
  1. How do I sign up?
    You can sign up through our Subscribe page.
  2. What if I lost my user name or password?
    You can recover your user name or password on the Forgot Login page.
Bankroll Questions
  1. How do I print my charts?
    On the View Charts page, select a chart type. You will see a link near the top of the page for a Printable Chart.

    Click on the link and only your chart will be shown on the page. Use you browser's Print button to print the chart.
    Note: for best results, print the chart in landscape mode.

  2. Can I download my data?
    Yes. On the View Session Data page, click on the Export to Excel link.
    Note: Microsoft Excel is required to download session data.
  3. I like entering my data into a spreadsheet, it's just easier for me. Can I still use the site?
    Yes. You can use our Data Upload Template to bulk load your data into our database. Once your spreadsheet data is loaded, you can use our suite of analysis tools to tweak your game. The Data Upload Template is available on the Data Upload page.
    Note: Microsoft Excel is required to upload session data.
  4. What type of session data is captured on this site?
    • Game Type - Tournament or Cash Game
    • Location Type - The type of location where the session took place (e.g. - Casino)
    • Location - The location of the session (e.g. - Bellagio)
    • Tournament Type - If the session was a tournament, the type of tournament (e.g. - Freezeout)
    • Tournament Entrants - If the session was a tournament, the number of entrants in the tournament
    • Tournament Finish - If the session was a tournament, your finish in the tournament
    • Poker Type - The type of poker played in the session. (e.g. - Texas Holdem)
    • Limit Type - The type of limit used in the session. (e.g. - No Limit)
    • Limit - If the session was a cash game, the limit used in the game (e.g. - 20/40)
    • Date - The session date.
    • Hours Played - The number of hours in the session.
    • Buyin Amount - The amount that you bought into the session.
    • Cashout Amount - The amount that you cashed out of the session. The amount you won/loss is equal to your Cashout Amount - Buyin Amount.
  5. What is a Party Poker Skin?
    A Party Poker Skin is an online poker room that is part of the same network as Party Poker and shares the same database of players. The current list of Party Poker Skins include: Empire Poker, MultiPoker, PokerNow, and Eurobet Poker/
  6. How do I zip up my log files?
    You can zip files up individually or whole folders.
    The following instructions are for Windows XP.

    Open up Windows Explorer and find the folder you want to zip up. Make sure all the files are there. (You can, however, add files after the zip has been created.) Make sure you are viewing your folder in the right-hand pane of Windows Explorer and right-click it. A pop-up menu will appear on which you should select "Send To" | "Compressed (zipped) Folder".

    Wait a second and a new file will appear. This is your zip file, and its name is based on the name of the folder.
